Roberte VANOMAJATOHENDRY
My name is Roberte, and I am from Madagascar. I am both a missionary and a teacher. I have many hobbies: I love reading, especially the Bible; I enjoy taking care of my coily hair; I like going to the gym, traveling, and decorating (even though I admit I’m not good at it). I also love eating, and my favorite fruit is pineapple.
I had a difficult adolescence, having lived with at least four foster families. Yet, that experience shaped me positively: it taught me how to connect with people. This has been especially helpful in my teaching, where I often work with students from different backgrounds.
I believe on Jesus, and sometimes I choose to stay alone to enjoy intimacy with God. As a woman with a little background in science, I am fascinated by animals. Sharing my life and experiences with others brings me joy, and I often share many things with my 10th-grade students. In fact, 95% of this self-introduction was written by them. What they wrote truly reflects me, and I hope to build the same kind of complicity and closeness with you, my future new family.
