Welcome to Our Nameless Country Setting the Context Bringing Your Context We ask each attendee to bring one item that represents your context, your story, your activism, or your positionality. This might be an object, image, photograph, piece of cultural cloth, cross, musical item, or something small from your daily life or community that represents the struggle or cause you are most engaged in right now. On Day Two, you will be invited to introduce yourself and share something of your context and your quest towards liberation through this object. It does not need to be formal or polished. Simply bring something that carries meaning for you. These objects and materials will also become part of our collective altar, accompanying and grounding our time together. Bags / Namelessness As part of our exploration of Nameless Country , we will invite you to paint and creatively transform your blank bag. Halfway point of the Diploma

At the halfway of our time in the Philippines, it is a good time to do a stocktake. Already, we are transformed, and God will continue to transform our hearts and minds. Yet, God also calls us as the people already birthed by God's Spirit. How are we becoming more fully ourselves? Now is a good time to do some reflective journalling. What is my worldview now? How has this changed since becoming part of TIM?

World Methodist Council — Thematic Keynote - El Salvador, 15 August 2026 My thinking as I prepared: JOY, in the Wesleyan and global Christian witness, is not the absence of suffering but the sign that suffering does not have the last word. It begins as longing, is costly won, survives as defiance, matures into communal practice, and ends in universal doxology.
